Every week, we take a look at what's been happening in the savings market with the help of experts at The Private Office. Today, Anna Bowes explains where to find the nuggets of gold after an interest rate hold by the Bank of England...
With the Bank of England opting to keep its rate at 3.75%, it's unsurprising that there has been little movement in the savings rates being offered by providers.
But that doesn't mean there aren't still great rates to be found.

In the easy access market, we have a new top rate for the first time in more than a year from Cahoot.
It has bumped Chase and Saga's 4.5% offering to second place with its variable 4.52% rate.
You can deposit up to £500,000 into the account and make unlimited, unrestricted withdrawals.
There is a small catch - it has a 12-month term, after which your money will be moved into another Cahoot savings account, the rate of which you will be told at the time, but is likely to be lower.
Bowes says: "Having opened the account myself, it is pretty straightforward - although it does ask you to confirm how much you are going to add monthly.
"I tried to say zero as I was looking to deposit a lump sum only, but I had to put in at least £1. I checked with Cahoot, and there is no requirement to put anything in on a regular basis, so this part of the application was unnecessary."
Easy access cash ISAs
The competition has waned a little among easy access ISA providers in the last couple of weeks, and the top rates have fallen slightly.
Shawbrook Easy Access Cash ISA is top, paying 4.52%, followed by Chip and Plum, which reduced their rates to 4.41% and 4.4% respectively.
Fixed-rate bonds
In the one-year table, the top rate on offer is very slightly lower than it was a week ago, as GB Bank has withdrawn its bond paying 4.92%, reducing the rate it's offering to 4.85%.
This has left Habib Bank back at the top, paying 4.91%, with OakNorth and a new bond from Recognise Bank just behind, offering 4.86% AER.
In the two-year table, there is a new leader paying a higher rate - Recognise Bank at 4.86%.
In the three-year table, Investec is still at the top, paying 5% AER.
Close Brother Savings has been more proactive in the five-year table, increasing the rate it's offering to 5%, joining Atom Bank at the top.
Fixed-rate cash ISAs
In the one-year table, Cynergy Bank increased the rate it was offering to 4.7%, taking the top spot briefly, ahead of Tandem and Charter Savings Bank, both paying 4.67%.
The best two-year ISA comes from Close Brothers, leading the way with a new ISA paying 4.76%.
While the top rate has remained at 4.78% in the three-year table, Close Brothers has joined Tandem by increasing the rate it's offering to match the app-only bank.
Finally, in the five-year table there's some better news, as a small battle has pushed the top rates up.
Close Brothers and the Leek Building Society have recently both launched new five-year ISAs paying 4.85%, which is the highest rate we've seen for this term for more than two and a half years.
